Signing up for Altria Scan Data Reporting
To set up your Scan Data reporting with Ekikart POS, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Check Eligibility with Altria Sales Rep or Contact IRI Scan Data Helpdesk
For New Tobacco Merchants:
1. Contact your Altria representative or call IRI Scan Data Helpdesk (844) 230- 3454 .
2. Inform them you want to enroll in the Altria tobacco scan data program. Please let them know that your scan data third-party service provider is SpacePointe ( Software- EkiKart)
4. Altria Help desk or Altria Rep will provide you with the Digital Trade Programing agreement which you would be required to complete and sign.
5. To complete the Onboarding process, you will be required to provide TPSP (SpacePointe Details) details that has already been set up on the Altria system.
6. On your behalf, Helpdesk would provide sample data payload for TPSP.
7. To submit Scan Data files to the Scan Data Help Desk, a Secure File Transfer Protocol (sFTP) site has been created.
8. The Scan Data Help Desk will provide participating Merchant with an account name and password to access the sFTP site.
9. After the process has been completed, Merchant would be required to send sample Scan data via the TPSP system (Ekikart) to ensure they have been fully set up.
Note
Scan Data must be submitted weekly and include seven consecutive and complete days of Scan Data ending on a Saturday except for a Store that is not open seven days a week, in which case, the same is expected for all open selling days.
For Existing Merchant:
Contact your existing Altria rep about changing your scan data provider to SpacePointe (Ekikart). If you do not know your assigned rep you can contact IRI Scan Data Helpdesk (844) 230- 3454
To change your scan data reporting provider follow the below steps;
1. Ensure you have provided your correct email for all communications.
2. Altria Help desk or Altria Rep will provide you with the Digital Trade Programing agreement which you would be required to complete and sign.
3. To complete the Onboarding process, you will be required to provide TPSP (SpacePointe Details) details that has already been set up on the Altria system.
4. On your behalf, Helpdesk would provide sample data payload for TPSP.

STEPS
1. Ensure that during account set-up, Tobacco Scan Data Feature is enabled for you.
2. Login to your Ekikart POS merchant panel.
3. On the Dashboard panel, click on Go To Store Panel.
4. On the left-side menu, click on Products from dropdown.
5. Select Products from the list.
6. Click on “Fetch Tobacco Products” to add all the tobacco product listing to your store with product details and description.
7. Click on product edit icon, to edit and add inventory for the tobacco products you have from the fetched catalogue.
8. Once setup is complete, we would be sending this data on your behalf to the assigned sFTP site.
